Carbocloth™ Wound Odor Dressings - ACC+ PLUS: advanced wound care management of infected and malodorous wounds2&3 with CarboCloth™.

The dressing consists of a layer of CarboCloth™ covered on both sides with a soft, non-adhesive wound facing. CarboCloth™ is a wholly microporous pure activated charcoal textile with rapid adsorption characteristics and large internal storage capacity.5  Its efficiency is unaffected by wound fluids.6  ACC+ Plus will significantly reduce wound infection as bacteria will be adsorbed by the CarboCloth™ layer and remain bound to the surface of the material. The fixing and removal of bacteria from the wound will lead to a reduction in exudate which will improve the wound environment and promote healing.1 ACC+ Plus will also completely eliminate the malodors associated with infected wounds, thus increasing patient well being and relieving patient and nursing stress.4

In use in Hospitals and Home Care facilities
