NEW! Super adsorbent and super soft eye mask.  Sleep deeply while detoxing your eyes.

Details

Super adsorbent and super soft organic cotton eye mask by Charcoal House. Ideal for computer weary eyes, numerous eye conditions including but not limited to pink eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, beginning of **cataracts and more.  The eye mask may be applied dry or steamed in a vegetable steamer or applied cold moist or dry.  (Of course if you have an eye condition that is or should be treated by a physician, always consult your health care provider before using.)

Made of soft velvet velour cotton that has been organically grown, woven and sewn in the USA. The mask has been prewashed in non-chlorinated water without soap or detergents with an organic cotton insert that is filled with a proprietary blend of coconut shell activated charcoal. Sleep more deeply, by not only blocking all light, but by detoxing your eyes while you sleep.

A soft, velvet velour elastic strap, slips over the head for a snug and gentle fit to easily wear all night. This eye pad includes a zipper so that you can refill as needed with a new charcoal insert.

It can be steamed for 3 - 5 minutes in a simple vegetable steamer or may be used dry. Or, if you prefer a cold treatment, spritz with pure water and place in fridge or freezer until it is the ideal temp for you.

When not using, keep in plastic pouch it came in or a tight fitting glass jar such as a mason jar so that it will not adsorb odors or chemicals in the room.

Cotton velour masks are machine wash and dry, however, we do recommend that you use natural and unscented soaps or detergents.  The inserts are not washable.

**Important: Because charcoal has the ability to draw foreign objects to the skin surface (ie. thorns, glass and bone fragments), we advise against using with any kind of lens transplants such as in cataract surgery. As always, consult your doctor if you have any serious eye condition before using.

"The more severe inflammation of the eyes will be relieved by a poultice of charcoal, put in a bag and dipped in hot or cold water as will best suit the case. This works, like a charm."
EG White - 19th Century Health Reformer
